DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, SECOND UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES The Department of Psychology of the Second University of Naples, was established in 2000; it conducts research in the field of applied and experimental psychology and criminology in conjunction with Institutions and local authorities bodies. Courses and publications are in particular in the field of forensic psychology, health, developmental and physiological and artificial intelligence.
The Department promotes the link between research findings and teaching of undergraduates and graduates students, including PhD students.
The Department has lead several national and international projects concerning victims of crimes and juvenile delinquency such as “Earn In Jvo” a project that aimed to validate a risk/need assessment approach in dealing with juvenile peer violent offenders in southern European countries and use of such assessment for the management of identified risk by setting interventions tailored to the juveniles and their needs. It also conducts research on victims of crime and especially on family violence and risk assessment.

Established in 1990, the Center for the Study of Democracy is a Bulgarian multi-disciplinary think tank covering a broad range of interrelated development issues. ESZTER Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation. It was established in 1991. It is the first and still the only organisation in Hungary, which specially aims at helping the survivors of sexual abuse and assault. The ESZTER Centre functioning as an outpatient service of the Foundation since 1994 provides counselling and psychotherapy for the survivors of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, employing specially trained professionals.
Within the framework of crime prevention activities the ESZTER Foundation worked out protocols concerning the tasks and cooperation of governmental and non-governmental organizations dealing with victims of sexual crimes, and organized a campaign on domestic violence including trainings for psychologists and psychiatrists who treat victims. In the past years, the Foundation have research credits on the field of sexual assault within the family, international trafficking in human beings and online risks and dangers among children.

The Institute of Psychology has about 900 students. The academic staff includes 10 professors, including 4 full professors (titled), 18 researchers, 5 research assistants, and 3 lecturers.
Students can follow regular and part-time courses: 5-year master (only master studies, similarly as medical and legal studies) and 4-year doctoral studies.
Program of master studies offers a 4 specializations:
· clinical psychology,
· applied social psychology,
· developmental support,
· psychology of rehabilitation.
The Institute also offers a postgraduate studies aimed at further development and new qualifications: in clinical psychology (basic and advanced courses), and in speech therapy. The Institute of Psychology offers a master program of 5-years psychological studies in English language (link) for foreigners. Master and doctoral studies in psychology comply with EU educational standards in the ECTS system and have been accredited by the State Accreditation Committee. The Institute participates in an exchange of students and academics in the frame of many EU programs.
The main areas of research: human behavior and development in the life-span, educational psychology, family and gender studies, psychopathology of child development, psychosomatics, disabilities and rehabilitation, neuropsychology, psychometrics, psychological guidance on-line. Numerous research projects involve cooperation with other universities and research institutions. The cooperation is documented by shared publishing efforts both at home and abroad. The Institute of Psychology is the publisher of the Polskie Forum Psychologiczne journal [Polish Psychological Forum].
The Institute staff are members of many domestic and international scholarly organizations and committees. Their scientific recognition makes the Institute attractive to many outstanding scholars from all over the world, and thus our students can attend lectures of visiting professors.

TIconBLU was founded in 2003, formerly Koala Games, by Ivan Venturi and Max di Fraia. With 25+ years’ experience in the design & development of videogames, Ivan was the first Italian videogame author, working with the first Italian videogame company (Simulmondo). Max is a software designer and music composer.
TIconBLU has produced and published several educational games, particularly focusing on the issue of Citizenship: driving education and road traffic safety, environmental education, prevention of poor health habits, citizenship and legality, fair trade, disability, media education.
The many products in the TIconBLU schools catalogue have all been developed in collaboration with experts in the different contents dealt with, and are distributed throughout Italy. These products are designed for children of all ages, as well as for parents and teachers. They are also meant for school and home use, blending educational contents with the most modern 3D videogame technologies.
TIconBLU also produces apps and videogames for children.
The company has also developed a close collaboration with the University of Bologna (Educational Sciences) and the Cattolica University of Milan (Psychology), aiming to design and develop technical teaching tools based on simulation and videogames.
